so Tara Sivec has done it again! that lady has talent.  now if you loved the first book, Burned, you will fall in love with branded too!

In burned we get a look at DJ and Phina as the best friends of Collin and Finnley.  In Branded we get DJ and Phina's deliciously hot fierce love story.

In true Tara Sivec style it is  not just a typical love story. oh no! it is intense, hot, passionate and will definitely be branded in your mind forever.  The theme of fire, in a sense, runs through this story too and its even hotter than the book before.  However, it's a bit darker this time round and if your like me who is safe and a hopeless romantic that like things to run smoothly knowing your getting a Happily Ever After and unsure about this book trust me once you start reading you will not be able to put it down.  Tara's story telling is compelling I promise you!

It is dark from the very start as Phina introduces you to her and her life.  Phina talks of her life, her past with her father and how he branded her and her present need to brand herself.  I struggled with this as soon as I read it but like I said I could not put it down I needed to know this woman's story! 

she is haunted by what her father done to her that she continues the torture on herself and the fact that the one boy she loved and she thought loved her back couldn't even remember their first time together, and so her father was right no one did love her. Phina is fierce and fiery on the outside a mask she has mastered but what she doesn't expect is for him to slowly take that mask away, now that's something she's not prepared for.

DJ has loved Phina his whole life but has been too pig-headed to do anything about it but now he has tasted her he can't get her from under his skin. she is pissed at him and he can't quite figure out what it is and can't get close enough to figure her out but he won't give up. Phina has secrets that she can't and won't let anyone else know not even her sweet best friend Finnley. 

Again Tara is pulling at our heart strings, our emotions all over the place and more gasping and awe-worthy moments throughout DJ&Phina's story.

This story is passion filled, sexy with just the right amount of darkness. With secrets,deception,love, an ex boyfriend, twists and her past on everyone's trail can Phina Brand herself with just Drake Jefferson's love or are they  just eighteen seconds too late?

This book is filled just the right amount of everything you need in a hot and sexy romance you will not be disappointed!
