This is a friends to lovers second chance kind of love story. Jaxson and Julia are complete opposites and no one expected them to be friends but one frightful night brought them together, starting their unlikely, frowned upon, friendship.

Jaxson has a past that causes insecurities that makes him question his worth for his friendship with sweet Julia Sinclair. Both Jaxson and Julia have an attraction to eachother but not wanting to jeopardize their friendship they ignore it - that is until Jaxson reveals that he is joining the military to train to become a navy seal and everything changes.
Jaxson is all alpha - my favourite! He of course, thinks he's doing the right thing sends the girl that loves him away. Years later he wants to fix his friendship so he does *Scoffs*. As if. Julia pushed him and waited for him for as long as she could but no more she wasn't going to wait for something that just wasn't going to happen.

This book is the first in the Men Of Honor series and started my love for KC Lynn. Jax is the ultimate alpha - seriously he is. You root for him and Julia - being a second chance romance and all. Apart from the main characters - I freaking love Kayla - seriously she is hilarious, try not to smile when reading her parts, you can't not love her. You've got these two characters that are meant to be but have a past and their own personal obstacles to get over along with unwanted attention from a third party causes more problems. A hot alpha his sassy woman with right amount of sarcastic banter, hotness and angst you'll love this and will automatically one-click the next three books in the series.
