*´¨) ¸.•´¸.•*´¨) LITTLE DOLL (BITTERSWEET DUET) By MELISSA JANE REVIEW*´¨) ¸.•´¸.•*´¨)

Little Doll By Melissa Jane
Little Doll is a dark, gritty story not for the faint hearted. It’s not all bad. Redemption, forgiveness and trust are central themes that are weaved amongst the character’s interactions. If you are easily offended by most things violent, this tale of survival may not be for you.

Laila had already overcome many heartbreaking obstacles in her twenty-five years… but none compared to this. With her brother missing and no other family to speak of, Laila has no idea of the evil that shadows her every move. Now in the hands of a notorious cartel family, she quickly learns that trust and betrayal are a deadly mix.

Aiden had a plan. One that was operating smoothly until Laila surfaced in his father’s mansion. With time against him, he must work night and day to right the wrongs that threaten to expose his ultimate betrayal.

Juan and Aiden share many differences, but the one thing that threatens to tear their family apart is the one thing they want to claim as their own, no matter what the costs.

This book contains themes and situations some may find confronting

MY REVIEW
4 STARS * * * * This is dark romance suspense - that is the only way I can think to explain this. If you like dark romances- or just dark books in general you will love this, and if you don't normally read dark books this would be the one to introduce you into this genre.

This kicks off with an edge right from the start, catching your attention immediately. This is a story is focused on the Florez family and absolute power. Drugs. Women. Trafficking. So be prepared it's definitely not an easy read for the faint hearted hoping for fluff and hearts - but it is soooo worth it.

The four main characters to this story are Aiden, Juan, Hector and of course Laila. They were the perfect mix of dynamic characters to a story. You have Laila who has been brought into the world of this family - unwillingly of course by Creepy malicious fucked up Juan for his equally messed up Father, Hector- Aiden fits into this messed up equation too, when Laila appears in front of him everything turns upside down for him and the time starts ticking for him to make a decision.

This book will have you hooked from the very start. Laila has been so strong and even being in the hands of a heartless, emotionless power greedy Mexican drug cartel family, she still held her own her strength is to be admired even at her most vulnerable times and she sure as hell has them. Things take a complete turn in this book and spotting the lesser evil gets harder, with tensions high, this is deliciously full of suspense, evil and is sexy as sin and one you don't want to miss out on and this story concludes in part two : Crimson desert (Bittersweet Duet)
