*´¨) ¸.•´¸.•*´¨ The Road Back To Us Review *´¨) ¸.•´¸.•*´¨

SYNOPSIS:
Caroline Harrison has had enough. After eight long years in an unhappy marriage, she’s ready to throw in the towel. Her workaholic husband, Bentley, is done too—choosing his career over his wife. They’ve met with their lawyers and only need to get through the holidays until their divorce is finalized.

Bentley isn’t ready to tell his family about the divorce, so he asks Caroline to spend one more Christmas at his mom’s under the ruse they are still happily married. Together, they set out on a seven hour car ride in the middle of the Canadian Caribou to put on one last happy show. What could be an opportunity to rekindle their love and spend quality time together turns out to be a road trip from hell.

When a surprise snow storm catches them off guard, Bentley and Caroline find themselves in an accident without any possibility of help in their near future. At one point, their love was all they needed to survive. But now, when all they have is each other against the frigid winter storm, will they find the love they lost before it’s too late? Or will this be the end…in more ways than one for Mr. and Mrs. Harrison?

The road back to us may be a turbulent path, but in the end, it’s worth the chaos because it leads back home.

MY REVIEW - 5+ STARS
I loved this book hard! K Webster can seriously
write anything. This is no exception it was so good I couldn't put it down and I devoured it and couldn't do anything until I finished.A lot of the time readers have the issue with books "that's not realistic" "as if that could happen in life" Which annoys me to no end because well it's fiction isn't it? but if that is what you look for in a book then I promise you will love this and even that's not what you are looking for you will still love it, no doubt. It's real. It's a second chance romance, this married couple are on their
way to finalize their divorce just one last Christmas trip before they tell the family. On their way to Bentley's mom's a storm hits and quickly puts everything into perspective.

When anything goes wrong in real life or in a book - everyone needs someone to blame and in this one I kind of wanted to blame Caroline. First of all; because even though Bentley had his A**hole moments he was the nice guy! I just wanted to blame her but I honestly couldn't I couldn't even be annoyed at her even though I wanted to. My heart actually ached for her. She wanted to be the perfect wife for her husband who was also trying to be the perfect husband for his wife but just like in life both blamed each other, both loved each other yet were too stubborn and to proud, but both were at fault as equally and sometimes you just wanted to slap them on the head because they really do belong together. When the storm hits they are still angry at eachother but things are soon put into perspective and the reality is they waited until things went too far and maybe a little yet but still it forced them to look into what went wrong with their marriage and with eachother- although don't think the storm hit and everything was fixed because that's not how it goes at all, they really have to look at each other and where everything went wrong.

This story went full circle for me. By trying to be the best for each other, to give each other the best support the best love they lost each other and their love and ironically the things they were working so hard towards is the thing that ripped them apart, losing each other and losing who they are in the process and when it came down to it everything they needed is exactly what and who they were in the beginning and unfortunately it took something horrible to happen for them to realize it. This was so real and I think because it was it will be emotional and maybe so many people will understand it and really identify with it which is a special thing. I loved getting to see glimpses of their relationship in the past getting to see how they got from where they were to how they are now and where they are going to go from here on out. And I'm pretty sure there will be a lot of women claiming Bentley as their own! He is nice don't get me wrong but hot as hell and will have you smirking like an idiot! I really fell in love with this story, I will be re-reading again real soon and kind of wish I could erase it and be reading it for the first time
